Commissions
My first commission was for Misener Shipping of Toronto, Canada in 1983.
It was a panorama of the yard containing the three ships that were built
for them, The Canada Marquis, Selkirk Settler, and the Saskatchewan
Pioneer.

Following
the completion of the three oils, I was then asked to do thirty Scottish
landscapes in any media as they would be reproduced and the reproductions
would hang in every inside cabin on the red and blue decks. If the cabin
had a window, it didn’t require a picture. There were 153 inside
cabins. Then followed another commission for four Scottish Landscapes
in oils, to hang in each of the four de-luxe cabins at the bridge front. |
